Rutherford dominates at inaugural UrbanCrazy.com Foxes Open

James Rutherford, Captain of Strokes Minigolf Club, claimed a dominant victory at the inaugural UrbanCrazy.com Foxes Open held at Play2Day, Wisbech.
The tournament was the first to be held at the course which was built by UrbanCrazy who generously sponsored the tournament and it proved to be a challenge for many of the players who took part. Rutherford was the only player to score under par (-7), with a round of 35 accompanied by two course record setting rounds of 33. Foxes players James Hollinrake (+1, 2nd) and James Shaw (+3, 3rd) completed the podium. There was a fantastic turnout from local players and it was great to see so many new people taking part and enjoying what was a superbly run event. There were a number of juniors who put in fantastic performances in their first competitive minigolf tournament.

Well done to Foxes Minigolf Club for hosting such a successful event and I’m sure there will be many similar events to look forward to in the future.
