Martin Greenhead Joins The Winners Circle

Martin Greenhead capped a great weekend at Strokes Adventure Golf claiming his first tour title a day after playing his part in Strokes MGC retaining the Club Championship. Martin achieved a feat very few have achieved, in winning a tournament with Michael Smith in the field.

Martin finished on -12 taking the title with a three shot advantage over Seve Kukielka  –9 with Michael Smith -6 a further three back. 

A few words from Martin “It was a great weekend of minigolf at my favourite course. Seve put the pressure on me but I managed to put together a strong last round. It was great to get my first tour win in a strong field, I’m now looking forward to the season ahead. Thanks to Matt and Alex for hosting us and to Strokes Minigolf Club for organising a top event.”

Will Donnelly (Strokes) took (another) Cat 2 Gold Medal, two shots ahead of Jon Angel (Foxes), with John McIver (Hastings) taking Bronze.

In Cat 3/4, Chloe Allart-Bennett (Thanet), took the Gold Medal, one shot ahead of Chris Randell (Aces) with Julian Teubler (Thanet) taking the Bronze Medal.

Elena Teubler (Thanet) took the top Women’s and Youth players prizes.
