Club Focus – Thanet Silverbacks

Here’s some words from club captain Scott Lancley:

Established in 2019, I’m fortunate to say I am part of a club that represents many ages. We are a mix of families, couples, and individuals that nurture the fun for mini-golf.

Our core values are to support and encourage you no matter the ability of the individual.

We play at our home course at Lost Island adventure golf, Margate. It’s indoors, and next year, we’ll hold our 3rd club Open in Feb’24 while celebrating our 5th anniversary of existence.

BMGA wise, we have the most juniors regulary participanting from our ‘Troop!’

As captain of the club, I also work at a local secondary school and have strived to try and invite students to participate and experience any local event, whether it be club, or national tournaments nearby.

I’m looking forward to seeing how our club develops over the next 5 years.

In our Troop we have seven title winners at national events, both male & female, and at all four age categories from Youth to Super Seniors.
