Thanet Open
The Thanet Open returns to the BMGA calendar in 2026. Hosted at the Lost Island Adventure Course in Margate, this tournament is one of two indoor events on the tour this year.
The courses at Lost Island Adventure are unique in their design and represent a technical challenge to even the most seasoned minigolfers. Scott Lancley had a hand in designing the course and this means that the holes are well suited to professional minigolfers and amateurs alike.
The defending champion is legend Michael Smith who scored rounds of 30, 29, 33 in 2025 to beat current British No. 1 Seve Kukielka by 2 shots.
FORMAT & ORGANISER
The tournament will be played over 3 rounds, 2 on the upstairs course and 1 on the downstairs course.
Scott Lancley will be organising and running this tournament; the BMGA is co-ordinating entries.

50% of ALL entry fees will be going to charity and the other 50% will be going into the prize pot.
