British Singles Matchplay
The British Singles Matchplay for the first time will be held on a crazy golf course, it is being held in Prestatyn as part of a double header weekend with the Welsh Crazy Golf Championships.
A tournament that always throws up some fantastic results in the group stages and has seen some great champions over the years. The defending champion is the minigolf legend Michael Smith, who beat Chris Randell (defending Welsh Crazy Golf Champion) in the final at Taunton.
The 18 hole layout in Prestatyn has been sympathetically maintained over the decades and retains all the charm and shot making that keeps these classic courses so popular with players all over the country, the course is a traditional Arnold Palmer design.
