British Doubles Matchplay

The British Doubles Matchplay is one of the most popular events on tour and this year will be held as part of the double header weekend with the Strokes Open at Strokes Adventure Golf in Margate.This will be the first time that our iconic doubles matchplay event has been hosted at the course and we’re certain it’s going to be a thrilling encounter.

The doubles were first held in 2006 and the first pair to claim the title were Jon Angel and Keith Kellard. There have been many many winners over the years but some players have seen success across multiple pairings including Will Donnelly, Michael Smith, Chris Harding and Andy Exall to name but a few. The defending champions are Foxes pair Shelley Cooper and James Hollinrake who romped to victory at home in Wisbech last year.
