If teams are tied on points and hole difference, a shootout will take place to decide the final placings.
Matches in the group stage will be over nine holes, all remaining matches will be over 12 holes.
Teams are made up of 3 or 4 players with the 3 best scores for each hole counted to create the team score for that hole.
The competition will start at 9.30 am Sunday, with the course open from 8.30am
There will be a ‘Live’ Facebook draw after the Strokes Open on Saturday 25th March. Please note that teams from the same club will be kept apart in the group stage.
Draw details can be followed below.
The holes in play are, 2,4,5,8,9,11,12,13,14,16,17,18. In the group stage matches teams will play the first nine holes only from their nominated start hole.
Teams will be awarded 3 points for a victory, 1 point for a draw.
During the group stage, the teams who are not playing are allowed to practise on the course, BUT MUST NOT get in the way of competition matches.
Teams will toss to decide who goes first at the first hole of the match. There will be no practice shots for any of the teams at the start of each match. The tee off order will rotate between the teams (i.e. Team A tee off first at hole 1, Team B at hole 2, Team A at hole 3 and so on). The playing order within the team stays the same throughout the match. Teams can change the playing order for each match but not during the match.
The course continues to offer a practice day rate of £13 on Friday 24th March.
