DESCRIPTION:The Players Championship and International Players Championship return in 2026\, taking place as is tradition on the Friday before the British Open. \nPlay will commence from 4pm\, giving players the perfect opportunity to sharpen their competitive edge ahead of the weekend’s British Open action. \nWith the British Open just around the corner\, these championships are a great way to get into tournament mode\, test your competitive edge and take on some of the players who will be competing throughout the weekend. \nENTRIES OPEN\n\n    Entry Fee: £10 \n\n    \n\n    \n\n    \nFORMAT\nBoth championships will begin with one round of strokeplay\, with all players competing for qualification into the knockout stage. \nPlayers Championship \nThe eight players with the lowest scores will qualify for a round of matchplay. In the event of a tie for the final qualifying position\, a sudden-death play-off will determine who progresses. \nThe remaining four players will contest a final strokeplay round to decide the Players Championship title. \nInternational Players Championship \nThe format is the same\, but with the top four players qualifying for the matchplay stage. \nThe four matchplay qualifiers will battle it out for a place in the head-to-head final round of strokeplay to determine the International Players Champion. \nIt’s the perfect way to kick off British Open weekend!

DESCRIPTION:The British Minigolf Grand Prix returns and will be held at Dynamite Adventure Golf in Midsomer Norton. The format will remain the same this year\, consisting of 3 rounds of individual strokeplay and 2 rounds of alternate shot doubles. \nDynamite Adventure Golf is new to the BMGA tour and has been designed by UrbanCrazy. It is an ace-filled course with plenty of opportunities to score low\, though there are holes that can trip up even the most seasoned pros. The course promises to be a thrilling test of skill for all competitors\, with scoring consistency being key to staying at the top of the leaderboard. \nThe singles winner in 2025 was Steve Hunt at Vivary Adventure Golf in Taunton\, marking his first victory on tour. DESCRIPTION:The third UrbanCrazy Foxes Open will be held at the Play2Day course in Wisbech. Built by Urban Crazy\, this course and event will also host the British Club Championships in 2026. A course that is difficult to manage\, there are quite a number of uniquely designed holes and whilst there are number of aces available\, the key to putting together a good score will be managing the more difficult holes and ensuring you get your twos. Richard Maud is the defending champion and he will be looking to match his impressive performance from last year. The course record was set by both Chris Randell and Murray Thompson who both broke 30 for the first time hitting 29s in last year’s British Adventure Golf Masters. \nFoxes Minigolf Club are a cohesive unit and with their iconic orange kit will be looking to make their mark at their open this year. SUMMARY:British Adventure Golf Masters
DESCRIPTION:The British Adventure Golf Masters was first introduced in 2000 and for the first 10 years\, held at the 12 hole Lost City Adventure Golf in Southend. The inaugural champion was Robert Vallory. Unlike the majority of other BMGA events\, The Masters has seen a plethora of different names that have won over the years. Incredibly we have seen 18 different winners in 26 tournaments. \nMichael Smith and Ted McIver have both won it 3 times. Nuno Cunha of Portugal is the only International winner having won it in 2017 and 2019. The Masters is considered the UK’s ‘4th major’ with The famous tweed jacket awaiting the champion each year. The tournament’s importance has also increased both domestically and internationally as it is one of the UK events that features on the World Adventure Golf Tour. SUMMARY:English Open
DESCRIPTION:A tournament with a proud history\, the English Open will return on Sunday 28 June 2026 and will be hosted at Peterborough Minigolf on the T12 Course. The tour has visited Peterborough on numerous occasions\, with former club Sussex Wasps previously hosting their open there annually and the venue is once again set to welcome players from across the field for one of the standout events of the season. The current English Open champion remains David Woodcock\, who claimed his maiden title in 2024 at Taunton with a commanding five-shot victory over Michael Smith and Seve Kukielka. The T12 course at Peterborough\, designed by tour sponsors UrbanCrazy\, provides a technical yet highly rewarding test\, and as with all of their layouts\, precision and opportunity conversion will be essential\, particularly given the 12-hole format where every ace opportunity can prove decisive. \nThe 2026 event will be played over five rounds of 12-hole stroke play\, with access from 08:40 and first tee-off scheduled for 09:20. Entry fees are set at £25 for members and £30 for non-members\, with places limited and early entry strongly advised. There is expected to be significant prize money on offer alongside trophies and medals for leading performances. \nRefreshments and food will be available on site at Dobbies throughout the event\, with live scoring provided across all rounds and live streaming also planned\, with further details to follow. \nThe English Open has a long-standing and distinguished history\, having first been held in 1999 and staged at a wide variety of courses since its inception. SUMMARY:World Crazy Golf Championships
DESCRIPTION:Hastings Adventure Golf is once again hosts the 2026 World Crazy Golf Championships. Widely regarded as the flagship event on the minigolf calendar\, it attracts players from across the globe\, all competing for the largest prize fund in crazy golf. \nThe main tournament will take place over Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June\, running a total of 7 rounds. The final will adopt the infamous ‘crazy crazy’ rules on Sunday afternoon. There will be 3 rounds on Saturday and 3 rounds on Sunday\, followed by the final for the top players. \nThe novice event will be held on Saturday 6th June as a one-day competition\, with players battling it out for the prize fund. It will consist of 3 rounds\, followed by a 4th final round for the top 12 players. As in 2025\, this will be a standalone event. Teams of 3 will battle it out over one round on Friday 5th June. No prize money for this one\, just the glory\, and a trophy of course! Plenty of time will remain afterwards to head to the pub and revel in the key moments from the event. \nThe junior event will be played on Saturday 6th June in the evening\, with an estimated start time of 5.30pm. It will consist of a single round on the iconic Crazy Golf course\, open to all juniors aged 8–14 inclusive. \nThis tournament is not a BMGA event\, but has long been part of the tour and is the second major of the year. Before this the first 5 years of the competition were held within the British Open for British Nationals only. \nAs the Championships evolved\, different categories were introduced and by 2005 there were several separate classes for different age ranges and gender. The British Women’s Championship was introduced in 2003\, with the British Junior Championship and British Senior Championship following in 2005. In 2019 we saw the introduction of the Super Seniors and the General Class Men’s Championship. \nThe British Championships is one of the 3 Majors of Minigolf in the UK (alongside the British Open and World Crazy Golf Championships). The player with the most overall titles is Michael Smith\, who has won the event on 5 separate occasions. DESCRIPTION:Hastings Minigolf Club (formerly Planet Hastings Crazy Golf Club) hold the annual Hastings Open on Sunday 1 March 2026. This event is the longest running club open in British Minigolf and has an impressive list of former winners including Hastings legends Ted McIver and the late\, great Tim Davies. The tournament used to be played over the 3 courses at Hastings Adventure Golf but is now held on just the Adventure Course. \nThe defending champion is current British No. 1 Seve Kukielka\, this tournament is an incredibly popular event and is run by Hastings Minigolf Club. The Adventure Course has changed quite a lot over the years and is a long challenging course that doesn’t give many aces but definitely rewards consistent putting. The Scottish Open is being held at Adventure Golf Island at Fife Leisure Park. The tournament has previously been hosted there as well as in Aberdeen. The tour has been visiting the course at Sidcup for well over 10 years and the course has played host to some great tournaments during that time. DESCRIPTION:The final major of the season\, the British Championships takes place at Strokes Adventure Golf in Margate. As the British Minigolf Association’s national championship tournament\, this event sees us crown the British Champions in all categories (General Men\, General Ladies\, Senior Men\, Super Senior Men\, Juniors). SUMMARY:World Crazy Golf Championships
DESCRIPTION:Hastings Adventure Golf once again play host to the 2025 World Crazy Golf Championships.  This is seen by many as the ‘flagship’ event in the Minigolf calendar attracting players from across the globe\, all competing for the biggest prize fund in crazy golf. \nAs usual\, the tournament will be run over two days and a total of 7 rounds with the final adopting the ‘crazy crazy’ rules on Sunday afternoon. There will be 3 rounds on the Saturday & 3 rounds on the Sunday\, followed by the final for the top players. \nThe novice event will run as a one day event on Saturday 7th June with players battling it out for the prize fund. The Novice event will consist of 3 rounds of golf and a final 4th round for the top 18 players. As for 2024 this will be a standalone event being played on the Friday 6th June\, estimated start time of 6pm. Teams of 3 will battle it out over one round. No prize money for this one\, just the glory\, and a trophy of course! Still leaving plenty of time to head to the pub afterwards. The Junior event will be played on Saturday 7th June evening\, estimated start time of 5.30pm. This will consist of a single round playing the iconic Crazy golf course\, open to all juniors aged 8-14 inclusive. \nThis tournament is not a BMGA Event but has long been part of the tour and is the first major of the year. DESCRIPTION:The second Urban Crazy Foxes Open will be held at the Play2Day course in Wisbech. Built by Urban Crazy\, this course and event was new to the tour last year and will also host the British Adventure Golf Masters in July 2025. A course that is difficult to manage\, there are quite a number of uniquely designed holes and whilst there are number of aces available\, the key to putting together a good score will be managing the more difficult holes and ensuring you get your twos. DESCRIPTION:The British Doubles Matchplay is one of the most popular events on tour and this year will be held as part of the double header weekend with the Foxes Open at Play2Day Wisbech.\nThis will be the first time a matchplay event has been hosted at the UrbanCrazy designed course in Wisbech. \nThe doubles were first held in 2006 and the first pair to claim the title were Jon Angel and Keith Kellard. There have been many many winners over the years but some players have seen success across multiple pairings including Will Donnelly\, Michael Smith\, Chris Harding and Andy Exall to name but a few. SUMMARY:Dunton Hills Charity Challenge
DESCRIPTION:As a warm up for the British Club Championships\, the BMGA will hold a charity event on the afternoon before. The format will be the same as the Players Championships that are traditionally held on the eve of the British Open. Competitors will all play two rounds of 12-hole strokeplay and the top 8 will qualify for the knockout matchplay in the 2nd round. The final round will be a strokeplay shoot out between the remaining 4 players. \nThe entry fees for the tournament will be split 50% to the Top 3 and the remaining 50% being donated to the winning players chosen charity. \nThis event will be good preparation for the club championships the following day\, providing some useful competitive practice for the club players hoping to take home the ultimate prize on Sunday. \nThis event will begin at 1pm on the 19th April.
