SUMMARY:Players' & International Players' Championship
DESCRIPTION:The Players Championship and International Players Championship return in 2026\, taking place as is tradition on the Friday before the British Open. \nPlay will commence from 4pm\, giving players the perfect opportunity to sharpen their competitive edge ahead of the weekend’s British Open action. \nWith the British Open just around the corner\, these championships are a great way to get into tournament mode\, test your competitive edge and take on some of the players who will be competing throughout the weekend. \nENTRIES OPEN\n\n    Entry Fee: £10 \n\n    \n\n    \n\n    \nFORMAT\nBoth championships will begin with one round of strokeplay\, with all players competing for qualification into the knockout stage. \nPlayers Championship \nThe eight players with the lowest scores will qualify for a round of matchplay. In the event of a tie for the final qualifying position\, a sudden-death play-off will determine who progresses. \nThe remaining four players will contest a final strokeplay round to decide the Players Championship title. \nInternational Players Championship \nThe format is the same\, but with the top four players qualifying for the matchplay stage. \nThe four matchplay qualifiers will battle it out for a place in the head-to-head final round of strokeplay to determine the International Players Champion. \nIt’s the perfect way to kick off British Open weekend!

SUMMARY:Thanet Open
DESCRIPTION:The Thanet Open returns to the BMGA calendar in 2026. Hosted at the Lost Island Adventure Course in Margate\, this tournament is one of two indoor events on the tour this year. \nThe courses at Lost Island Adventure are unique in their design and represent a technical challenge to even the most seasoned minigolfers. SUMMARY:New Brighton Charity Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The tour is delighted to be holding one of our new charity events at a brand new course to the BMGA\, Championship Adventure Golf in New Brighton on Merseyside\, the first such event at one of the top courses in the north of the country. \nThe event is taking place on Saturday 13 September over three rounds of the Championship course starting at 2 pm. We are looking to attract both existing ‘pro’ and new players to the event and the aim is to raise money for the winners nominated charity. SUMMARY:Dunton Hills Charity Challenge
DESCRIPTION:As a warm up for the British Club Championships\, the BMGA will hold a charity event on the afternoon before. The format will be the same as the Players Championships that are traditionally held on the eve of the British Open. Competitors will all play two rounds of 12-hole strokeplay and the top 8 will qualify for the knockout matchplay in the 2nd round. The final round will be a strokeplay shoot out between the remaining 4 players. \nThe entry fees for the tournament will be split 50% to the Top 3 and the remaining 50% being donated to the winning players chosen charity. \nThis event will be good preparation for the club championships the following day\, providing some useful competitive practice for the club players hoping to take home the ultimate prize on Sunday. \nThis event will begin at 1pm on the 19th April.
