The rescheduled 2020 British Masters takes place on Sunday 25th October at the Explorers’ Course, Mr Mulligan’s Dino Golf, Sidcup (BR7 6RP).
Please make sure that you have read the Covid protocols as updated on the website and facebook.
You are reminded that there is no BMGA day rate in operation prior to the competition, practice rounds need to be booked online.
All online bookings are for 2 rounds, but please add BMGA after your name. If there are any issues at the course mention that Charlotte has agreed to the 2 round arrangement.
Standard BMGA rules apply. If your ball gets stuck behind one of the wooden poles on the 18th hole then you will be required to tee off again. All groups will have an experiencedTour Pro who will be able to clarify any rules. In addition, there will be a run through of hole specific rules before the start of play.
Any official minigolf ball may be used.
Players must tee off behind the plastic either side of the tee off area.
Practice is allowed on the course from 8am until 8.45am on the day of the tournament. Please do not enter the course before 8am. There will then be a run through of the day and a chance to clarify any points before the shotgun start at 9am.
There will be 3 shotgun rounds with all players remaining in the same groups and then a final round where the bubbles will be rearranged in leaderboard order. There will be a break for lunch after the 3rd round (expected to be around noon). Play is expected to end around 3pm. Groups will be announced later today
In the event of any ties, there will be a sudden death playoff from hole 1.
The winner of the Masters will receive a medal, a cash prize and, of course, the coveted tweed jacket.
There will also be Junior, Senior, Ladies and Category prizes.
Once again there will be one scorecard per group, which will then be photographed and forwarded to Martyn Williams our resident Bangolf expert (thanks again Martyn)

You have again been allocated weekend social bubbles of five, we have tried, where possible to group club players together. For everyone’s safety please be mindful of mixing within your allocated bubbles only.
We all play to enjoy our minigolf and the competition, but Please be mindful, especially with the social distancing rules, of your shadows, not standing too close to your active player, chatting close to players, and consideration to others with your “Ace” celebrations. Mobile phones to be off or on mute, and not used while you are playing.
Thank you for your continued support during these difficult times.
